Maybe you can relate…

I’m originally an engineer by profession. I started to work as a personal and rehabilitation trainer after having spine and shoulder problems due to my sedentary lifestyle, exercise mistakes and the effect of three pregnancies on my body’s alignment.

At this point, I was determined to educate myself and learn everything I could to rehabilitate myself and recover from my injuries. It took me four years to fully recover. Ever since I have helped hundreds of people, especially, women to live an active and pain-free lifestyle and to recover from chronic pain. 

I believe that women today not only deserve but should expect a pain-free, active lifestyle, no matter their age, no matter their previous experience.

My perspective on personal training is completely different than most trainers’ and one you need to hear. From lifting too much weight to poor technique, an exercise performed incorrectly can mean you are not getting the benefits you are looking for, and can even cause injury. 

As a personal trainer I combine bodyweight exercise and weight training. I use plyometric training (unstable equipment, band, pilates mini ball, D-Band, TRX, foam roller) for my clients to improve their mobility, stability and speed. My private studio is also equipped with High quality Pilates Equipments, treadmill and exercise bike

As a pre- and rehabilitation trainer, I have developed safe and effective exercise programs to meet the needs of individual clients while getting the most out of their workouts and avoiding injuries. I use cupping techniques, kinesiology taping, moxibustion and tissue flossing for rehabilitation and performance application. 

Progressive overload is an important principle in my training programs. Without progressive overload you won’t build strength and won’t gain muscle. However, too much overload can lead to under-recovery and injury. The challenge therefore lies in getting the balance right, so that you keep improving without exceeding the body’s capability to recover.

I'm a 45-year-old, mother of three. My ultimate goal is to help women achieve a lifestyle. In the last 7 years I have been training hundreds of clients and during that time I have refined my fitness strategy to be safe and to provide the best results, but more importantly, to do so while having fun!
