Why homework is crucial for your recovery...

Homework is not only important for the sake of doing exercise at home, it is important for your overall well-being and for continued health of the tissue. Most of my clients live a sedentary lifestyle and do not have the ability to see me 4 or 5 times a week, because work and life gets in the way. That’s why a homework only a few minutes per day can be of the utmost importance in your overall progress, and it can sometimes be the deciding factor in a positive or a negative outcome.

I do not have you do exactly what we would do at the #AFGC studio. Rather, I select 4-5 exercises that will be the most beneficial for your progress. When you perform these fast, effective and safe exercises at home, you continue to gain added strength, mobility, stability and flexibility. 

I am not a magician (although some of my clients may think I am), and having hands-on skilled work for only 40 minutes two or three times a week alone is not enough for you to make progress and recover quickly. It is a two way street – it is my primary responsibility to own, dictate, and carry out a specific plan of care, but you also have to take ownership of your body and your commitment to recovery.
